Internet Service Provider - Tiscali
The enthusiasm and experience gained during the first days of the Internet, led to the birth in 1993 of Video On Line, one of the first Internet Service Providers in Italy. After a few years, the company was bought by Telecom Italia, but some of the pioneers funded in 1998 a new company, Tiscali, which is one of the top Italian Telecommunication and ISP companies. Its headquarters are a few km from Cagliari, just in front of the pond of Santa Gilla.
